Touching Lives For Christ

Youth Ministries (On-site)

Text Box: The youth take leadership positions during Vacation Bible School in the areas of crafts, music, storytelling, and recreation. This allows them to set an example of Christian stewardship by unselfishly giving their time, talents, and energy. It also allows them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children of our church and our community.

Souper Bowl Sunday

Text Box: Yes, it’s spelled correctly: Souper Bowl Sunday occurs on Super Bowl Sunday! Our students join with other youth from across the United States in collecting food and money to help in the fight against hunger. This year our students collected 280 food items and $373.31 which they donated to our church’s new Food Pantry.

Thanks to the Student Ministry our food pantry is off to a great start with more than 700 items on the shelves.

Adopt A Child

Text Box: Our Student Ministry adopted a child through World Vision. Through their weekly offerings at UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) they will send $35 to help feed, clothe, educate, and provide medical care for their adopted 7 year old girl. The students will also send her cards and letters throughout the year.
