School Supplies Drive Each year, as the new school year approaches, we have a dinner at the church. The price of the dinner is a bag of school supplies needed for the local elementary and middle schools. The first week of class the supplies are taken to the schools with these very simple instructions; the teachers are to use their discretion to see that no student’s grade suffers because they can not afford their school supplies. The supplies are given to the needy children in a manner which allows them to maintain their dignity among the other students. |

Backpacks Drive Near the end of the school year, we will collect any backpacks that are in good shape and could be used again. These backpacks will be given to other children who desperately need them to safely maintain their books and school work. |
