MFMUC is an open, loving group of Christians with a rich tradition and heritage. 

 

Finding ourselves in the midst of one of the fastest growing communities in Tennessee, we have taken bold steps over the last few years to serve God's mission in this community by building a new facility which opened in the fall of 2005. 

 

With strong, self-sacrificing, pastoral leadership, and an energetic, self-sacrificing lay leadership, we have made some important strides in putting this tool to use in God's service. 

 

We are reaching out and touching people.  Every week, new people enter the doors of this church, God's church.  With every person, we have a new opportunity to fulfill our commission as Christians; to make disciples of Christ. 

 

With every new person, is the chance to help someone experience God's love, grace, and healing; to help someone experience God's salvation in their life.  Through the work we are doing here, now, in this place, we have the opportunity to touch literally, thousands of people, over numerous generations.  Think about that, we have the opportunity to affect, for Christ, the lives of thousands of people we will never know.  It is an amazing opportunity and you are invited to come join us.

 

We are also taking on some of the more difficult issues that face our congregation and our community.  We are initiating programs and ministries to address divorce and divorce recovery (for adults and children), parenting in today's secular society, substance abuse and addictions, marriage counseling, and other issues.  Issues which, when dealt with through the attitudes and advice of the secular world, and not God’s word, lead to devastated lives. Through these programs we will, as a church, make our Christianity relevant to the lives of those we touch. 

 

We are accepting the challenge to build a church that  makes a real difference in people's lives.  With God’s help we will change our world for God's purpose...one person at a time.
