Jeremiah Cavitt

Music Director

Jeremiah has been working with church choirs since he was 16.  Prior to his current position, he worked at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville, First United Methodist Church in Halls, and Forest Heights United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.

Jeremiah earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Lambuth University and a Master of Music degree from Austin Peay State University.

In addition to his work at Medina First United Methodist Church, Jeremiah is the Director of Choral Activities at Liberty Technology Magnet School and the Head Coach of the Lady Crusader volley ball team.  Jeremiah is an Adjunct professor at Jackson State Community College.  He is a member of the Madison County Education Association, Tennessee Education Association and National Education Association.  He is also a member of the Music Educator National Conference and the Parliamentarian of the West Tennessee Vocal Music Educator Association.

Jeremiah is married to Kellie Cavitt.  They have three children, Knox, Sy and Grace.  Jeremiah enjoys spending time with his family camping, fishing and playing any sport.  Jeremiah also enjoys the Music Drama Camp at Lakeshore.
